Which one is gud? doing an mba at Australia or doing an mba at USA..!?

  • could some one help me to take the right decision pls?
well i would like to knw whether taking an mba from australia or taking one from USA is gud.?
i would like to highlight two points as well..
    1) As per the current situation the us economy is descending.so will i be able to get a gud job after i finish my mba?
    2) is there a probability of geting fired off the job after getting it?

i've heard that a person should have at the least 2 yrs of experience, to go for an MBA pgrm.
if the situation is of such a kind. i will definitely go for some other master degree being a graduate in computer science.

-> could ny1 suggest me which all master degrees are there that offer a gud job... over at australia or usa.!

one another point that i would like to add upon is..
that 1 US (dollar) is 50 rupees nw while one Australian dollar is 32 rs now.

which do you think is better? getting a job at usa or getting a job at australia ? which will get me more salary being an indian?

i will be happy if someone could help me with my question.
    thank you Very much.

  • education in Australia is cheaper than in America, particularly seeing that Aussie dollar is worth less. America's education is more reputable though, but ultimately both are good.

Regarding the experience before getting your MBA - it's up to you. Regarding your economy fears, if you have a job now, then stick with your job. If you don't have a job, then go for your MBA, it'll buy you two years before you'll have to work full time and hopefully by then the economy will have improved by then. Better to be unemployed but furthering your education credentials than unemployed right?

There are many master degrees that would offer a good job, but if you want job security, then you might want to consider law or accounting (not sure if you can do it though if you don't have the undergraduate degree) because no matter how bad the economy is, everyone always needs lawyers and accountants

I've heard (but i'm not sure if it's true) that work conditions for graduates in Australia is better (ie higher starting salary) and it's easier to get an Aussie working visa than an American one. Not sure about America but Australia are very open to employing foreigners. Hope it helps
