Something about backing up

  • Well i think ive backed up correctly without a hickup using ssh/telnet ive got my .sql database files now...,

    So if i wanted to check if everything is ok i.e. use the backup on my other server space to see if its all in good working order, what will i need? Im guessing i will need to download my forum files from my original server and upload it to the other server and apply the mysql database which i backed up to it too? right?

  • Yes, you'll need to copy your vBulletin files to the new server, and restore your database backup there as well.
