  • im atheist and i celebrate christmas cuz my familys christian and, well, they dotn exactly KNOW im nto christian. its not liek they are really religious, but still... and also i love it cuz my family comes down and i get presents ;)

  • It's a Pagean holiday .

  • christmas... lost its meaning anyways ... so i dont see why it would be... christians dont even celbrate it for the real meaning anymore... or atleast the christians i know dont... most of them tell their children... santa bring presents... im not christian... but if i ever had children... they will know that... I... not some big jollie fat white guy... but i spent my hard earned money to pay for those damn gifts

  • CHRISTMAS IS A PAGEAN HOLIDAY. why does no one get that?!?!??!

  • no i don't think so.

I'm christian with non christian friends and they always take those pesky presents off my hands !!

  • No. It is one of the ways Christians celebrate. It would be insulting not to accept it.

  • Nopes.
I'm an atheist, and I absolutely love them! =)
    (Don't we all..?)

Christmas did not actually start out as a Christian holiday. Basically the Christians stole it from the Pagans in order to kill the old holiday. They adopted many of the original, Pagan traditions too.. From Yule, which is what it used to be called. (Actually, in Scandinavia, we still have "jul", not "Christmas". XD)

For me Christmas has nothing to do with Christ. It marks the end of the year, the turning of the sun, and it is a nice opportunity to spend some extra time with my loved ones. My family in particular... =)

  • no

  • No .... just go with the flow ... do what ur heart tells you to do

  • I need to ask my Santa if he is a Christian or not?

  • Christmas is a Christian holiday, however Christmas has just been overly-commercialized so frankly it doesn't really matter.

    : /

  • what does one have to do with the other?

  • no....

  • hell no.

  • No. One of my Hindi friends and I (Catholic) always exchange gifts at Christmas. They are tokens of our friendship and cross any silly faith issues.

  • christmas is a christian holiday
    meaning a holiday for christian's.

  • No, i dont think so

  • nope.

  • I don't know, we have some Jehovah witness family members and the children expect christmas presents from the rest of the family. Which I think is BULL!!!
