Can I get addresses in English, through Google, from IP addresses in numbers?Hi gagaga12345-ga,
Good day and thanks for your question. What you are looking for is
called reverse DNS lookup, which converts IP addresses (in
###.###.###.### format) to the hostname (which is the "English"
address according to your question).
If you use Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 or Linux/UNIX/Solaris, you can use
the 'nslookup' command from the command prompt.
C:> nslookup
e.g. consider the IP (random) 64.39.7.208
It returns the following:
Name: saturnweb.linuxengine.net (hostname)
Address: 64.39.7.208 (IP)
Alternatively, you can get the information from sites which reverse
DNS IP addresses.
http://remote.12dt.com/rns/ is a good site for this
I hope this answers your question. If you have any clarifications,
please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you for using this service and have a nice day.
Warm regards,
aditya2kThe thought crossed my mind. By addresses, did you mean mailing addresses?
If so, then http://www.checkdomain.com is the place to look for them#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
