Bug Reporting Suggestion.

  • If you are reporting a bug, make it easier for the developers to work on fixing it. You have to help them help you. To do this make sure you give them as many details as possible.

    If your bug is from an end-user perspective make sure to include:

    Browser and version.
    Operating System and Version.
    Whether you are behind a firewall or not.
    Forum Settings that are relevant. i.e. Browse with cookies.



    This will help them track down the bugs as fast as possible.


  • Can we also ask people to put the Vb version (I mean beta2/beta3 etc) in the post subject field?

  • One additional thing to note.

    Please try to confirm your bug on the current development version located at http://beta.jelsoft.com . Feel free to report your bug even if you can't reproduce it over there, as it may be setting specific, but it would be beneficial to the developers (us) if you note whether or not you could reproduce it on the dev boards.
