updating xbmc as App from evox installer?
i have one of the daily updates(i guess that is what it is)
i have the 12-25-05
it is in iso form, i used one of the programs where you can extract the xiso's and all that is on it is..
[2 folders]
skins
xbmc
[& the files]
config.xml
default.xbe
maakiso
readme.txt
temp.txt
that is it. i think i read somewhere else that you had to have more folders and files than that to update xbmc, but i can't find where i read that... i might be misunderstood.
but i have read all over the place looking for the answer to this and can't seem to find it.
again..
it is in the e:/ as an app
not as a dashboard
so, if anyone can let me know how i would do that..
and let me know if this iso that i have does have enough files in order to update it.

the thing is, the 12-25-05 update that i have downloaded doesn't have all those folders that are circled, it only has
[2 folders]
skinsxbmc
[& the files]
config.xmldefault.xbemaakisoreadme.txttemp.txt
and in the update area in the manual it says...
then ftp the files mentioned in the last section to the folder that contains xbmc on your xbox, overwriting existing files.
so, is the update that i got no good.
also, i just now boot up my xbmc and it is version 1.0.0
and there is a newer 1.1.0 version out..
so would i need to find the release version of 1.1.0 before i could use one of the newer daily updates?
and we can't ask where to get them either can we?
i was just hoping to update xbmc to get the new features..
