I'd like to find out the manufacturer of an office armoire offered in
the Ballard Designs calalog (www.balarddesigns.com). Item number MA
083. The prefix "MA" may be an indication of the manufacturer since
it is also the prefix of other similar pieces of furniture in the
catalog.I thought perhaps someone could locate a list of manufactures and the
prefix "MA" may give some indication. They did tell me it was made
in China, if that is any help. I am hoping someone may be very
familiar with Furniture Manufactures and be able to assist me with
this. I'm sure Ballard Designs is not the sole distributor. Usually,
if you can locate a manufacturer online, they will make their product
line available, and a list of distributors. (This is what I'm hoping
to locate through Google Answers!) I know there are many, many
people as yourself who are much more savy at finding things on the
internet than I am. I get frustrated when I keep getting the same
sites come up over and over. (I'm not very patient, unfortunately)!

GA ResearcherI have spent countless hours looking at other armoires on the
internet, and I've yet to find what I'm looking for, which is why I
sought assistance through Google Answers. I am hoping someone can
locate the manufacturer to see there complete stlye line or find
another company offering this item with less shipping in addition,
this item is backordered for months on this item through Ballard.--
It would help our Researchers greatly if you'd identify the specific armoire. :-)

track down the manufacturer of a specific item.
However, there are many woodcraft places that specialize in pretty
precisely reproducing any piece that is of interest to you. Just
point them to the catalog and they'll do the rest -- at a competitive
price.
Would you be interested in some links to manufacturers that do this,
