This one is an online resource.
It's the story of a Harry Potter like youngster and his little sister who decide to "figure out" the Bible on their own. I recommend it because they try their best to look at everything from the Lord's point of view, rather than the theological point of view. And it is a fun read!

Enjoy I would check with your local Church first. For example.. I am Catholic and the Catholic Church offers study guides to assist with Bible studies. They also have a program with DVD's and workbooks to help groups with Bible Studies. I know that other Christian groups have similar programs. I think that it is wonderful you are starting a bible study group. May God Bless each and every member of your study group and open your heart and minds to receive His Word. AMEN!!Simply work from that Big Book itself :-)
Take it where you feel you all should go. If you start bringing in other materials, you run the risk of bias. Give yourself a chance to honestly assess what you read, and most importantly for a setting like that, what it means to each of you, without outside influence.firm foundationshttp://www.infidels.org/library/modern/j...
