In the end when he asked if it was a boy or a girl? Did that mean that she was pregnant with his child years before and thats why she went to that center or whatever? aww and what are your thoughts on chuck? i felt so bad for him...he seemed so sad and wrecked ALSO (lol sorry this is like 3 questions) whens the next episode coming out? thank you!i love gossip girl!! (L) anyways! , yes she was pregnant with rufus's baby, and thats why she was in the hospital in France. But she lied, and people thought that she was in a hospital for a mental illness, like (Eric). I think maybe the baby Lilly had with Rufus is probably in her/his twenties, because that is before Serena was born. Or maybe the baby died later, on after he/she wa...... - 2010-02-07

» Hi guys ... the things this web page tobeseen: Acting, Reality TV, Modelling auditions mentions really exist?

i mean are there these auditions or not??I don't know that site, but modeling agencies do not advertise their open calls on any sites but their own. The big agencies do not send scouts to competitions or anything else. Most of the sites looking for actors/models are scams trying to get you to pay for photography, listing fees, competitions, etc. Remember, a real agency will never charge you for anything if they want you. They make money by booking you on jobs and taking a % of your earnings If you want to act, look for auditions in Backstage newspaper or on backstage.com. if you want to model, send in your pictures directly to Ford, Elite, Wilhelmina, IMG, Click Next, DNA, Marilyn, Q, Red, Supreme, etc....... - 2010-02-07

» Installing the Utility for Netgear M111 USB wireless adapter

I have just bought a wireless USB adapter and have installed it into my old laptop which runs Windows 98. I get an error message when I reboot my computer "WLANCFG4.EXE file is linked to missing export OLEAUT32.DLL:173" I am not able to launch the utility. The adapter appears to be working and the driver has installed successfully.I had horrible problems trying to install this adapter to a windows 98 computer and get it to work. Apparently Win98 doesn't do a very great job with support of USB adapters, although 98SE is supposedly better. I ended up having to go with a PCI card on my desktop, which installed easily and worked flawlessly. Maybe a PC card option might work for your laptop, but I had absolutely no luck with this ...... - 2010-02-07

» Unique server configuration, need help

I'm having trouble installing the board simply because all PHP scripts are required to have a shell escape sequence (#!/usr/bin/php) on the first line of every script. (as Perl does) I did a global search/replace and now I have it at the top of every file. However, I still get errors. I've eben playing around with deleting it from global.php and db_mysql.php, since they aren't called directly from the web browser, but from server-side require's. I managed to get the database tables and default values setup, but thats the extent of it. I get an Internal Server Error when trying to access admin/index.php. » Peculiar Wave-action Associated with Waterspout Moving Onshore

Hey, I was enjoying this Youtube video of a waterspout moving onshore and then partially destroying a Tavernier Key, FL resort (of some sort, :) (sorry.)) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkS0Sk1Qujk Point of interest is from the 18th second mark onwards. I was puzzled to see a huge, long wave breaking, just as the vortex made landfall. What is your explanation for this feature? I've never seen this in records of vortices over water before, and to my knowledge, no researchers (Golden, Rossow) have mentioned it in their studies. My own theory is that of wind-driven surge associated with the waterspouts gustfront, you can see debris in the spray vortex just as the wave breaks. Evidence please for bothWhat a meaty question! I am reminded of one of my favorite quotes from Shakespeare: "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them." As you requested, I've gathered material discussing both viewpoints. ============================ LEADERS ARE BORN, NOT MADE ============================ "We might not like it, but leaders are born and not made. To lead, you need the following traits: * a spirit of adventure - the urge to explore, break new ground, challenge the status quo, stand up for what you believe, risk rejection, rebel against authority, innovate. * an ability to influence - by example, logical argument, enthusiasm, persistence or painting a visionary pic...... - 2010-02-07

im thinking about getting a signature on my shoulder and its going to be small about 3 or 4 inches long and 1 inch high and cost anywhere from 50-100 dollars so how much should i tip....or should i not tip at all?I typically tip $25 per hour worth of work. For something smaller, I would suggest somewhere in the $10 to $20 range. You should always tip when they are providing you with a service. Keep in mind that the shop usually gets a portion of each tattoo that they give, so they are not making the entire amount unless they own the shop. If you tip someone for a meal that you are eating that is only going to last a couple hours in your stomach, shouldn't you tip an artist that is giving you something that will be on your body for ...... - 2010-02-07

What I don't understand is the lense magnification and how it compensates for this. Is the viewfinder compensated to the same size, cutting down the 35mm view the appropriate view? Is it a better coverage, say full coverage, of the actual image than you would find on an analogue? How do you calculate the difference in the lense from what it is labeled? Am I even in the right ballpark w/ my questions to understand this? lol ThanxI'm not good in explaining that, so I'd rather post a link (http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/understanding-s...... - 2010-02-07

» Transitions error

Hi I have some problems with transitions. They work fine for the most part, but if you click on a button before the transition is done, it gets screwed up (does not load the new swf files correctly). My code for each button is (I have 6 main buttons): } on (release) { if (_root.currMovie == undefined) { _root.currMovie = "bgstartT"; _root.container.loadMovie("bgstartT.swf"); } else if (_root.currMovie != "bgstartT") { if (container._currentframe >= container.midframe) { _root.currMovie = "bgstartT"; _root.container.play(); if (_root.currSub == undefined) { _root.currSub = "startT"; _root.container2.loadMovie("startT.swf"); } else if (_root.currSub != "startT") { if (container2._currentframe >= container.midframe) { _root.currSub = "star...... - 2010-02-07

» How can i backup the members and the topics

Hi how ist the easiest way to backup the bulletin data´s (the whole Board with everything) ? In UBB i just copy the data from the server, but how it works on vbulletin, what i have to du to get all the data on an another server. Thx for helpYou can use phpMyAdmin to download the database structure/content to a txt file. If you have telnet access you could do a mysqldump of the database and redirect that to a txt file. If you have cron capability, you could do a mysqldump every day or so and have it gzip/compress it and email it to you. Personally, I use phpMyAdmin which you could get from: http://www.phpwizard.com/I'd have to go with wandrer's suggestion. All our machines use phpMyAdmin, it's really good for playing with the dat...... - 2010-02-07

» Tell me about "where"

I'm curious about "where" as in: "I once read where people in Japan never eat noodles without slurping." Can that "where" be interpreted as something like "somewhere that"? Is it usable in general conversation in every part of the United States? If not, is that kind of a lingo/brogue in some particular area? Thanks, in advance.to say "I once read somewhere that" gives the impression that you came across this fact somewhere, perhaps unexpectedly. I had to read your sample sentence several times to myself to see if it struck that chord that says "this isn't right." While it doesn't sound wrong, I think this use of "where" is probably less acceptable, and it doesn't give the same impression that "somewhere that" does...... - 2010-02-07

» Style: Air ball vs ground

My team has a tendency to try and play many long balls in the air. Essentially they play like Englishmen, which is also the dominant style of play in the US. I rarely ever play balls in the air. I prefer the style of short, controlled passes on the ground. Even when I play a long ball i just try to strike it hard on the ground or just barely in the air so the ball touches back down where my team mate can control it easily. I find this to be so much more effective because it is much easier to control and continue the attack. These passes also maintain possession much better and have a much higher completion ratio. My intended target can almost always get a touch on the ball when I play him a pass. Why do other players like the play...... - 2010-02-07

» Something about backing up

Well i think ive backed up correctly without a hickup using ssh/telnet ive got my .sql database files now..., So if i wanted to check if everything is ok i.e. use the backup on my other server space to see if its all in good working order, what will i need? Im guessing i will need to download my forum files from my original server and upload it to the other server and apply the mysql database which i backed up to it too? right?Yes, you'll need to copy your vBulletin files to the new server, and restore your database backup there as well. Here are instructions on restoring your database backup: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/manual_database_restorecheers for that!...... - 2010-02-07

» Are there nice atheists? I don't really believe in anything myself but I try to be nice and do good.?

I don't believe in a god, don't have a religion, and strive to be the best I can be. This atheist is fairly nice, but has a smart mouth if someone's acting like an idiot. ;)Of course there are nice atheists.  I'm a Christian and my old roomate was an avid atheist.  Even though we often debated I thought he was one of the nicest people I have ever known.Don't stereotype atheists as mean.  Many Christians I have known have been far meaner than many atheists I've known.Sure. My husband is nice - he is a fantastic husband and father. My sister is nice too. They both have morals and understand the difference between right and wrong, they will help someone who needs help and donate to charity, etc. Both ath...... - 2010-02-07

» Easy Autotext Entry System

I am using Blackberry and would like to use an established autotext system, meaning a system that someone has already created and is easy and logical to use. Autotext means when writing, for instance, "Mon" and it converts into "Monday". I do not need a list of the well established ones such as the sample Monday but a system that covers daily use of English. It must be a logical system where much memorization and learning is not needed. Please do not submit shorthand writing systems and such that take a long time to master.More autotext entry samples to get the idea what I am looking for. The system doesn't have to be as appears below. When writing, for instance, fwd, it would become forward / fwdg = forwarding / fwdd = forwarded /...... - 2010-02-07

» How does one draw a punnett square? Explain.?

Okay, a punnett square is used to determine all possible outcomes of a breeding between a male and female. In its simplest definition. Let's consider the gene that determines hair color. For the male, he has two alleles for this gene: B codes black hair, and b codes blonde hair. The same goes for the female. For an example of how to draw a punnett square refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punnett_squ... From all 4 possible outcomes, i.e BB, Bb, Bb and bb, there is a 1/4 chance that their offspring will have the BB allele or bb allele, and a 2/4 chance that their offspring will have the Bb allele....... - 2010-02-07

» Praktica BMS

Hi there everyone, i am wanting to know about a prinz converter....like it turns a 50mm lens into a 150mm etc...basically its off an M42 and i heard that it will fit onto my praktica BMS i just want to get this verified before i go ahead and buy it....many thanks! The BMS uses Praktica's bayonet system so an M42 thread won't fit it. Is the converter an M42 Praktica thread or an M42 T-mount thread? These are very similar with the diameter being the same but having different thread pitches that won't fit each other! Either way it is possible to buy converters to the bayonet for both types....... - 2010-02-07
